As a semi-Michigander I feel compelled to draw some rather bizarre comparisons between presidential candidates and cars - here goes:
both spend millions of dollars to sell us on their brands
both require large and glitzy "shows" to strut their stuff
some are concepts and some are really for sale
both use fruit analogies for dealing with their extreme transgressions - LEMON laws and imPEACHment
you can lease both of them for 4 years and then decide whether you want to turn them in
both usually look really tired after 8 years
